Dutch officials have banned a batch of the Pfizer drug Prevnar, known in the Netherlands as Prevenar, after three infants died within two weeks of being dosed with the anti-infection medication. If your child has experienced health problems as the result of pharmaceutical drugs, the lawyers of Levinson-Axelrod can help fight for your child’s needs.

The batch banned by the Dutch government totals roughly 110,000 doses. The drug is designed to prevent pneumonia and similar infections. Dutch officials have not quarantined other batches of the drug, and children in the country will continue to be treated with Prevnar.

That sounds awful. Isn’t medication supposed to make you better? I hope no one got hurt before the drug was taken off the market.
