A Pennsylvania woman is suing a hospital that amputated her legs after she drank herself unconscious on her 20th birthday. If you or someone you love has been the victim of unfit medical care, the New Jersey medical malpractice attorneys of Levinson-Axelrod may be able to help you get the compensation you deserve.
The woman was sitting cross-legged when she passed out, and remained unconscious for 12 hours. According to the suit, she alleges that the hospital did not not properly diagnose her condition, nor did physicians make enough effort to restore circulation in her legs. Instead, she was transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital, where both her legs were amputated at the knee.
