The Affordable Health Care for America Act, the Republican response to the Democrats’ healthcare reform bills, has been proposed in the House of Representatives.  One of the bill’s primary concerns is providing caps for malpractice litigation.  If you or someone you love has been the victim of medical malpractice, the New Jersey medical malpractice lawyers of Levinson-Axelrod.

The bill is meant as a counter to the health care reform bills put forward by House Democrats, and its primary goals are to reduce the number of uninsured Americans, limit the amount of money that can be awarded in medical malpractice suits, and allow small businesses to buy health insurance.
