Connecticut Doctor Banned in New York

Posted on Monday, November 16th, 2009 at 3:23 pm

A Connecticut doctor has been banned from practicing in New York after it was shown he artificially inseminated a woman using the wrong sample. If you or someone you love has been the victim of medical malpractice, the New Jersey medical malpractice attorneys of Levinson-Axelrod can help you fight for the compensation you need.

The woman gave birth to two twin girls, but was surprised to find that the girls were very fair-skinned when their father was African American. A paternity test showed that the woman had actually been fertilized by her doctor’s own specimen. The State of New York has banned the doctor in question from practicing medicine in the state.
