Three Suits Filed For Emergency Room Deaths From Delays

Posted on Monday, January 4th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

Three lawsuits have been filed at two different hospitals with the victim’s families alleging that the delay in the Emergency Room lead to the death of their loved ones. If you have been injured because of negligent medical care, the New Jersey medical malpractice lawyers of Levinson-Axelrod may be able to help.

Two of the suits were filed against the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. The woman claims that the hospital did not treat her while she was in labor, which caused the death of her newborn children.

The third lawsuit was filed against San Mateo County, California by a daughter who claims that no one in the hospital helped her dying mother, while she waited in the waiting room.

Experts have recommended many ways to decrease time in waiting rooms in Emergency Rooms to ensure a safer place for people in need of medical care.
